In the southeastern part of Madison Co.

United with Boone's Creek Assn. in 1919. It is understood the church was constituted in 1854 and Elders J.J. Edwards and N.B. Johnson were instrumental in gathering the church, also that Elder Edwards was the first pastor and R.Munday was the first clerk. Formerly this church was a member of Landmark Assn.

In May 1912 Rev. P.N. Taylor was pastor and W.B. Baker clerk; Baker is serving as clerk at the present time (1923).

In Oct. 1912 Rev. George Childers succeeded Taylor and served until Jan. 1915, when Rev. A.C. Cornelas accepted, serving until March 1918.

In March 1918 Elder H. Ponder was called. He was succeeded by Rev. Lewis Vanwinkle.

Rev. J.T. Turpin, Missionary of Boone's Creek Assn., assisted by Rev. J.W. Richardson held a tent meeting in the church lot in Aug 1921 when had 6 additions.

Rev. Lewis Vanwinkle was pastor in 1921.

At present (1923) they are without a pastor.

The church reported 91 members in 1922 to Boone's Creek Assn.
