In Estill Col, constituted July 25, 1846.

Received into Boone's Creek Assn. in 1846. Her messengers were J. Tipton, T.M. Duvell and J. Barnes; reporting 12 members.

In 1859 had 65 members. The church was constituted at Drowning Creek Church, and was one of the 7 churches that went into the Irvine Assn. in 1859, had 65 members. Returned to Boone's Creek Assn. in 1910, reporting 159 members. Cow Creek Church entertained Irvine Assn. in 1871.

J.J. Edwards was appointed missionary in 1862 and kept in the field 17 years.

In Jan 1876 Elder N.B. Johnson was pastor and Wallace Tipton clerk.

In 1880 Elder J.J. Edwards succeeded Elder Johnson as pastor; served until 1883, when Rev. A.J. Daugherty accepted and was followed by Rev. T.L. Lawson in Aug 1885.

In June 1899 we find Rev. A.G. Croker pastor and G.W. Abney clerk.

At the July meeting Joshua Tipton and g.W. Abney ordained as deacons.

Rev. Croker served as pastor until May 1902 when Rev. R.L. Brandenburg became pastor, remained 1 year.

In April 1904 Rev. A.G. Croker again became pastor, until June 1906, when Rev. S.A. Owen was pastor and C.M. Tyree clerk.

Rev. Wm. Wells was called for 8 mo. in Oct. 1908.

In March 1909 Rev. J.G. Parsons became pastor; served until Feb 1912, when Rev. H.R. McLenden accepted and served until May 1913.

In May 1913 Rev. W.A. Woods was called until Sept. 1914.

July 1916 Rev. T.P. Edwards became pastor; was still pastor in Aug 1918.

In Oct. 1921 G.W. Abney resigned as clerk and Mrs. Zobe Muncie was elected.

In Nov. 1921 Rev. S.A. Taylor became pastor; Bro. Sidney Griffin deacon.
