Donald A. Morford, 80, of Ft. Thomas, Ky., formerly of Pendleton County, passed away on Tuesday December 16, 2003 at the St. Luke Hospital East. Donald was born in Cado, Ky on April 12, 1923, the son the the late Arthur and Velma Norris Morford. He was a member of the Cemetery Chapel Christian Church, Lenoxburg, Ky., attended 1st Baptist Church in Ft. Thomas, Ky, worked at Queen City Chevrolet, and was a WWII Veteran. He married Kathryn King Morford on September 20, 1947, he was preceded in death by his brother, Wilferd Morford.
Survivors include his wife Kathryn King Morford, Ft. Thomas, Ky.; nieces, Brenda Johnson, Atlanta, Ga., Sandy Chaffin, Springfield, Ohio., Laura McClanahan, Williams-town, Ky., nephew, William Andrew King, Anchorage, Alaska.
Services were held on Friday December 19, 2003, at the 1st Baptist Church, under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home, Falmouth, Ky., under full military honors.
Interment took place in the Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth, Ky.

Ruby Velma Cash, 84, of Williamstown, passed away on Thursday December 18, 2003 at Owenton Manor, Owenton, Ky. She was a homemaker and farmer, a member of the Knoxville Christian Church, Williamstown, Ky. She was preceded in death by her husband John, in 1972.
Survivors include brothers; Junior McClanahan, Williams-town, Ky., Donald McClanahan, Blanchester, Oh., Ronald McClanahan, Cincinnati, Oh, sisters; Irene McMillian, Blanchester, Oh., Mildred Whaley, Williamstown, Ky., Jewel Hamon, Florence, Ky.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2003, at the Eckler-Hudson Funeral Home.
Interment took place in the Williamstown Cemetery, Wil-liamstown, Ky.


Joyce Stout, 59 of Hwy 467, Demossville, Ky., passed away on Friday December 19, 2003 at her home. She was born in Louisville, Ky on January 26, 1944, the daughter of the late Harry and Elnora Peters Cooper. She was a bookeeper at Nagel and Sons in Cincinnati, a member of 1st Christian Assembly of God church in Cincinnati, Ohio., Bell Choir, Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include her husband Bob Stout, Demossville, Ky. daughters; Alyson Wilson, Independence, Ky, Kathy Fogarty, Indianapolis, Ind., sister: Susie Bertholf, Louisville, Ky.; brother Ed Cooper, Vienna, Va. five grandchildren; Jessica, Matthew and Kristin Fogarty, Samantha and Max Wilson, niece Amy Wrightsel, Louis-ville, Ky, son; Christopher.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday December 22, 2003 at Peoples Funeral Home, Falmouth, Ky.
Interment took place in the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home, Falmouth, Ky.


Melvin Julius Risse, 77, of Harrison Ohio, formerly of Falmouth, Ky., passed away on Wednesday December 17, in Ft. Thomas, Ky. He was a carpenter for Proctor & Gamble, a member of First Christian Church of Harrison where he taught Sunday School, was an elder and deacon, he was a Kentucky Colonel. The son of Everett and Dollie (Bristow) Risse, a 1944 graduate of Bright High School, he loved to travel, was an avid bowler and Western Square Dancing. He was preceded in death by his son Kenneth Lee Risse.
Survivors include his wife Marguerite (Kiefer) Risse, son; Delbert Risse, Cincinnati, Ohio., sister; Naomi (John) McConnell, Brooksville, Ind.; sister-in-law; Carolyn Sue Leeper, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; good friend; Larry Allee, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Services were held at 11 a.m., Monday December 22, 2003 at First Christian Church of Harrison, Harrison, Ohio. with Dr. William McConnell officiating.
Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church. Build-ing. Fund, Hospice of Northern Kentucky or Ohio Parkinson Foundation.


Donald E. Holmes, 85, of Falmouth, passed away on Friday December 19, 2003 at the River Valley Nursing Home, Butler, Ky. He was born in Pendleton County, Ky. on January 15, 1918, the son of Claude and Bertha Collier Holmes. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Browning Holmes on August 22, 1999. He was a life long Pendleton County farmer, member of the Antioch Mills Christian Church, and a member of the Pendleton County Senior Citizens.
Survivors include his son, Ernest Lee Holmes, Falmouth, Ky., and a daughter Charlotte Ann Whaley, Berry, Ky., eight grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday December 23, 2003 at the Peoples Funeral Home, Falmouth, Ky.
Interment will take place in the Riverside Cemetery, Fal-mouth, Ky.
Memorials are suggested to Antioch Mills Christian Church or the Pendleton County Senior Citizens


Falmouth Outlook, December 30, 2003

Adrian Dean West, 74, of Moriane, Ohio, formerly of Brooks-ville, Ky. passed away on Friday December 19, 2003 at his home. He was born on July 19, 1929 in Brooksville, Ky., the son of the late Pearl West and Bernice (Persinger) Morgan. He worked as a roofer at Wehner Roofing, Dayton, Ohio, served in the Army from January 27, 1953 thru February 20, 1956. He was preceded in death by his grandaughter Heather Nichole Offill. He married Beatha Ann (Sutton) Sis West on November 13, 1954 which whom survives his passing.
Additional survivors include; daughters, Vickie Lynn West, Dayton, Ohio, Marilyn Sue Bowman, Franklin, Ohio; grandchildren, Joseph Bowman Jr., and Andrew Nicholas Bowman, both of Lansdale, Pa., Timothy D. West, Dayton, Ohio. a brother, Howard West, Brooksville, Ky.; two sisters, Mildred Hatfield, Newport, Ky., Ruth Campbell, Orlando, Fla.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday December 23, 2003 at Moore and Parker Funeral Home, Brooksville, Ky.
Interment took place in the Concord Cemetery, Brooksville, Ky.
Memorials are suggested to ones Charity of Choice.


Brad W. Pensinger, 39, of 451 Cordray Rd., Falmouth, Ky., passed away Saturday December 20, 2003 at his home. He was born in Santa Ana California on November 13, 1964, the son of Robert Pensinger and Patricia Meyer, whom survives his passing.
Additional survivors include: son, Brad Minor, Falmouth, Ky. daughters: Vanessa Knight, State of California, Brittany and Caitlyn Pensinger both of Falmouth, Ky., brothers: Brent and Blane Pensinger both of Bucyrus, Ohio and Bart Pensinger, State of California, sister: Pam Seal, North Carolina
Memorial services were held on Monday December 29, 2003 at the St. Xavier Catholic Church


David P. Weaver, 83, of Dover, Ky., passed away on Thursday December 25, 2003 at his home. He was born in Minerva, Ky., on January 29, 1920 to the late Oliver Newton and Pauline (Pollitt) Weaver, Sr. He was preceded in death by his brother O.N. Weaver, Jr.
He was a lifelong member of the Dover Baptist Church and a WWII Navy Veteran. He was a Director of Farmer’s Mutual Insurance for 40 years and was a retired farmer and landowner. He is survived by his wife Thelma (MCGowan) Weaver whom he married on July 25, 1946.
Additional survivors include: sons; David (Cindy) Weaver, Dennis Weaver, daughter; Vicki (Billy) Doyle all of Dover. Grandchildren: Jarrod (Tauna) Doyle, Eric Doyle of Dover, Charles David “Chuck” Weaver of Cincinnati, Ohio and Valerie (Matt) Anderson of Bradstown, Ky., great-grandchildren: Dill-on, Dalton and Duncan Doyle all of Dover.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday December 28, 2003 at the Palmer Funeral Home, Germantown.
Memorials are suggested to the Dover Baptist Church or charity of one’s choice.


Emmett C. Whaley, 97, of Williamstown, Ky., passed away on Thursday December 25, 2003 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Grant, County. He was a self-employed barber, the son of the late Jasper and Nannie Whaley, the husband of Loretta Vice Whaley whom preceded him in death.
Survivors include his son, Gary Whaley, Florence, Ky., daughters: Joyce French, Mesa, Ariz., Donna Green, Williams-town, Ky., nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday December 29, 2003 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home under the direction of Rev. Ronald Angell.
Interment took place in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, William-stown, Ky.
Memorials are suggested to the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Building Fund.

Garnett Egnew, 92, FosterGarnett (Downard) Egnew, 92, of Foster, Ky. passed away on Tuesday December 23, 2003 at St. Luke Hospital East. She was a homemaker, born in Bracken County on October 17, 1911, the daughter of Clay and Lora (Pangburn) Downard. She married Everett Egnew on September 12, 1931 and he survives her passing. She was preceded in death by her sister Clara Staggs.
Additional survivors include her daughter, Donna Sue Latimer, Florence, Ky., and brother, Bro. Carroll Egnew, Russell Springs, Ky., five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Saturday, December 27, 2003 at Moore and Parker Funeral Home in Brooksville, Ky.
Interment took place in the Lenoxburg Cemetery, Foster, Ky.

Harold Harrison, 82, of Washington Courthouse, Ohio, formerly of Pendleton County, passed away on Monday December 22, 2003 at the Carlton Manor Nursing facility in Washington Courthouse, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Harrison on January 25, 2003, and his brother, Raymond Harrison.
Survivors include his daughter, Patsy King of William-stown; grandchildren: Melvin Harrison and Patricia L. King, great-grandchildren: Candace, Melvin, Adam, and Cherry Harrison, and Kate King.
Services were held on Saturday December 27, 2003 at 11 a.m.
Interment took place in the Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth, Ky.
Woodhead Funeral Homes in Falmouth served the family.


Kenneth G. Jackson, 82, of Covington, Ky., formerly of Pendleton County, passed away on Wednesday December 24, 2003 at the Woodcrest Manor Care Center, Elsmere, Ky. Kenneth was born in Barb-ourville, Ky., on January 15, 1921, he was the son of Grover and Emma Jackson.
He was a member of the Pendleton County Sportsman Club and the Flour Creek Christian Church. Member of the U.S. Army and a World War II Veteran and worked at American Laundry in Norwood, Ohio, National Rifle Assoc-iation.
He was preceded in death by brothers: Clinton Jackson, Arnold Jackson, Lilbern Jackson, sisters: Lois Jackson Burnett, Mabel Jackson Blackaby. He married Opal Beryl Britton and she survives his passing.
Additional survivors include: son: Richard Jackson, Butler, Ky., brothers: Charlie Jackson, Butler, Ky., Elmer Jackson, Latonia, Ky., sisters: Irene Jackson Caldwell, Butler, Ky., Delcie Jackson Roberts, Butler, Ky., Dorothy Jackson Kelly Reeves, Oklahoma. Two grandchildren: Stacey Jackson, Union, Ky., Christopher Jackson, Walton, Ky., two great-grandchildren: Austin and Seth Jackson, both of Walton, Ky.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday December 30, 2003 under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home, Butler, Ky.
Interment will take place in the Butler Cemetery, Butler, Ky.
Memorials are suggested to National Rifle Association.

Raymond Comer Race, 62, of Covington, formerly of Falmouth, passed away on Monday December 22, 2003 at the St. Elizabeth North in Covington. Born on July 19, 1941 in Pendleton County, he was the son of the late Harold and Mildred Jenkins Race. He was retired from J.C. Buckley’s Warehouse in Sharonville, Ohio.
Survivors include: daughter, Pam Race, Covington, Ky., sons: Michael, Raymond and David Race all of Latonia, Ky., three grandchildren: Briana Race, Shannon Race, and Brandon Race, brother: Harold “Pete” Race, Calipatria, California.
Services were held on Friday December 26, 2003 at the Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, Ky., with Rev. John Losey officiating.
Interment took place in the Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth, Ky.
