Elbert Riley Anderson

Elbert Riley Anderson born June 12, 1915 in Mt. Vernon,
Rockcastle Co., Ky. (Rockcastle Co. birth records show him as born on June
13, 1915 but Dad had always celebrated on June 12th as he believed this to
be his birthday. He died June 12, 2001 in Bristow, Creek Co., Oklahoma. He
was the son of John Harrison Anderson & Dora Ellen Jordan orginally of
Rockcastle Co., Ky. Dad served in WWII-Mustered out Discharged Sec.2 @
Kennedy General Hospital, Memphis, Tenn on 11 November 1943. He married
Lillian Faye Macomb on June 01, 1944 in Bristow, Creek Co., Oklahoma. They
were married over fifty years before being separated by death. They both
are buried in Oakhill Cemetary north of town in Bristow, Oklahoma. They
had three children who are all still living in Oklahoma.
