Ms. Isabell "Cookie" Mason Bolin, age 69 of John Cash Rd., died Thursday, June 17 at her home. She was born in Barbourville, KY on Mar. 1, 1935 the daughter of Bruce and Glessie Peace Mayhew. She was a homemaker, a member of the Flat Rock Baptist Church, and was a former of the Rockcastle County School Board.

She is survived by a son, Anthony Mason of Brodhead; three daughters, Alecia Benge (Troy) and Michelle York (Timmy), both of Mt. Vernon, and Pam Sturgill (Dennis) of Brodhead; and two sisters, Barbara Pittman and Pat Mayhew, both of Eubank. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Mark Mason; and a brother, Pete.
