d. 20 Mar 1999 LONDON - William David
Bordes, 74, of London, died Saturday at Marymount Medical Center. Born Aug. 8, 1924, in
Rockcastle County, he was a son of the late Francese and Lily McBee Bordes. He
was a retired truck driver for Ford Motor Co., and a Baptist. Survivors include his
wife, Irene Ratliff Bordes; a son, Larry W. Bordes of California; a sister,
Beulah Quinn of Louisville; a brother, S.C. Bordes of Somerset. Services will be 11 a.m.
Thursday at House-Rawlings Funeral Home by the Rev. John R. Jones. Burial with
military rites by Caswell Saufley American Legion Post 18 will he 1:30 p.m.
