8-23-1986: Walter Bradley died. Rockcastle County, Kentucky news article, "Mount Vernon Signal," obit dated, 8-26-1986, follows; Walter Bradley, 82, of Wabd died Aug. 23, 1986 at the Rockcastle County Hospital. He was born in Rockcastle County, April 6, 1904, the son of the late James F. and Dulphina Cromer Bradley. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Providence Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Maggielene Barron Bradley; two sons, Walter Bradley and James Bradley, both of Wabd; a stepson. James Wilbert Rowe of Florence; three daughters, Judy Vanzant of Orlando, Nance Brinegar of Orlando, Fla. and Martha Louise Bradley of Wabd; a brother, Cecil Bradley of Louisville; two half brothers, James Bradley of Cincinnati, Ohio and Oather Bradley of Brodhead; two sisters, Martha Martin of Louisville, May Barnes of Hamilton, Ohio and three half sisters, Pauline Smith of Mt. Vernon, Birdie Hart of Nabb, Indiana, and Fannie Brown of Lockland, Ohio, and 12 grandchildren. Services were conducted Aug. 25. at the Providence Church of Christ by Bro. Austin Mobley. Burial was in the Providence Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Herbert Ray, Eugene, Bobby, Richard, Jackie, and Charles Lawrence.
