Mr. Eddie C. Brown, age 62 of Cupps Chapel Rd., Coppercreek, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2004 at his residence.

He was born on November 25, 1941, in Brodhead, a son of the late Hobert and May Burke Brown. He was of the Baptist faith, a retired Construction truck driver, member of the Mt. Vernon VFW, and an Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He enjoyed fishing.

Those left to mourn his passing include his wife of thirty nine (39) years, Sheryl Brown; his children- Scotty Brown and wife Stephanie of Brodhead, Glen Brown of Brodhead, Crystal Brown York and husband Red of Brodhead, Summer Nicole Brown of Callahan, Fla., Shannon Frank Brown of Callahan, Fla and Aaron Lee Green of Callahan, Fla; four grandchildren-Lindsay & Michael York, and Amber & Christina Brown; one great grandchild-Kirsten Fletcher; his sister-Bonnie Holcomb of Brodhead, Ky.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers-David "Doddy", Teddy and Vernie Brown.

Visitation for Mr. Eddie C. Brown will Monday, August 16, 2004 from 6-8P at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals in Brodhead, Ky; Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at 11AM at the Marvin E. Owens Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Randal Adams & Tony Shelton officiating; burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery.
