COLLETT, Sylvania
d. 28 Mar 1999 CRAB ORCHARD - Sylvania
Collett, 84, of Seymour, Ind., formerly of Lincoln County, died Sunday at
Seymour Memorial Hospital. Born Oct. 30, 1914, in
Rockcastle County, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Alkie Saylor
Shelton. She was the widow of Samuel Collett. Survivors include a
daughter, Rachel Roberts of Stanford; three sisters, Wathena Fins, Dollie
Halcomb and Henrietta Smith, all of Crab Orchard; three brothers, Homer Shelton
of Crab Orchard, Johnny Shelton of Lancaster and Charles Shelton of Rising Sun,
Ind.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a
great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers are Kenneth
Roberts, Henry Delaney, Joshua Caldwell, Jimmy Harrison, Charles Gray and
Woodrow Saylor. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at McKnight-Martin Funeral Home by Dan Gutenson. Burial will be in Wilmont Chapel Cemetery on Copper Creek Road. |
