Mrs. Flossie Cottrell, age 75 of Rt. 1 Brodhead died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003 at the Rockcastle Hospital. She was born in Rockcastle County on Feb. 12, 1928 the daughter of James P. and Ida Barron Cromer. She was a homemaker and a member of the Walnut Grove Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Lester Cottrell; one son, Darrell Edward Cottrell (Brenda) of Rt. 1 Brodhead; one daughter, Sandra Gayle Debord (Tommy) of Rt. 1 Brodhead; one brother, Joe Cromer of Indianapolis, IN; and a twin sister, Mossie Denney of Eubank. Also surviving are five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
