Ms. Valerie Ann Cummins, age 54 of Richmond, and formerly of Mt. Vernon, died Saturday, Sep. 25 at her home. She was born in Berea, KY on Mar. 5, 1950 the daughter of William B. and Edna Livesay Cummins. She was a traffic data analyst for Cingular Wireless Corp. and was a member of the Westport Road Baptist Church in Louisville.

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Edna Cummins of Mt. Vernon; a sister, Carol Pybas (Robert) of Mt. Vernon; a brother, Larry Cummins (Florencie) of Cynthiana; two nieces, Shelia Cummins of Lexington, and Natalie Taylor (Troy) of Mt. Vernon; a nephew, Robert B. Pybas of Mt. Vernon; four great nephews, Ryan Cummins, Jacob Taylor, Logan Taylor, and Zachary Taylor; a very special friend, Tom Pflug of Louisville; and a loving pet, Miss Beasley. She was preceded in death by her father, William Boone Cummins; and a sister, Ellena Jo Cummins.
