James Orville Gregory
James Orville Gregory, age 72, of London, Kentucky, passed away at the University of Kentucky Medical Center on Sunday, February 8, 2004. He was born in Rockcastle County, Kentucky, on July 31, 1931, the son of Lee A. and Bertie Gregory. James retired from General Electric after 35 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Sudie Gregory of London, Kentucky; two sons, Orville Dean Gregory and Andy (Melissa) Gregory, both of Hamilton; two daughters, Rhonda Gregory of Pennsylvania and Teresa Gregory of Utah; five step-sons, James Fink, Chuck (Renee) Fink, Stephen Lee, Ralph Lee, all of Hamilton and John (Robin) Fink of Cincinnati; one step-daughter, Delores Fink of Lebanon; three brothers, Amos Gregory of Baldwin Park, California, Delbert Gregory of Carlisle, Ohio, and Dennis (Donna) Gregory of Sharon, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Opal (Denver) Allen and Mildred Webb, both of Hamilton; twenty-nine grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Lee A. Gregory; sister, Pauline Johnson; and a greatgrandson, Keith James Venable.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, February 13, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and a visitation was held Tuesday at Bowling Funeral Home, London, Kentucky.
