Walter Elmer Leece

LEECE- Funeral service for Walter Elmer Leece of Elm St. Crab Orchard, who died Sunday, Sept 4, 1977 at the Fort Logan Hospital, were held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 6, at Beazley, Raney, Speaks and Martin Funeral Home. Rev. Elmore Ray officiated with burial in Buffalo Spring Cemetery.

A native of Rockcastle Co., he was born January 22, 1906 to the late Andrew and Betty Gaylor Leece. Mr. Leece was a retired cabinetmaker and member of the Fairview Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betty Vanhook Leece of Crab Orchard; one brother, Robert B, Leece of New Carlisle, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Wilburn McCollum, also of New Carlisle, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
