Mr. Bobby G. Mason, age 71 of Covington, KY and formerly of Rockcastle County, died Saturday, June 19 at his home. He was born in Rockcastle County on Dec. 13, 1932 the son of George and Mary Isaacs Mason. He was the retired Director of Operations for the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky, was a member of the Cincinnati Transit Historical Association, and was an Executive Board Member of Amalgamated Transit Union Local #628. He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Murphy Mason; one son, Karl R. Mason of Latonia; four daughters, Deloris A. Mullins of Somerset, Gail Hurst of Bronston, Sarah Lynn Mason of Covington, and Tina Waterman-Rothfuss of Latonia; six brothers, Frank, David, Paul, and George Mason, Jr., all of Orlando, Jimmy Mason of Chipley, FL, and Ronnie Mason of Berea; three sisters, Dorothy Rader, Karen Morgan, and Maryann VanZant, all of Orlando; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and his stepmother, Gladys Mason. Also surviving are his extended family children, Dorothy Smith of Mt. Vernon, Carol Price of Felicity, OH, Sue Mills of Bethel, OH, and Charles Murphy of London; 11 extended grandchildren; and two extended great grandchildren. |
