1-01-1993: Jesse L. Mason died. "Mount Vernon Signal," Rockcastle County, Kentucky, obit dated 1-07-1993, follows; Jesse L. Mason, 71,
Livingston, died Jan 01, 1993 at the Berea Hospital. He was born in Rockcastle
County October 26, 1921, the son Jim and Alice Renner Mason, a retired
construction worker, a veteran of World War Two, and a member of the Sand Hill
Baptist Church. Survivors include five sons, Kenneth Mason, James Mason and
Freddy Mason, all of Mt Vernon, Robert Mason and Jesse Mason, both of
Livingston; five daughters, Shirley Goforth and Beverly Mason, both of Russell
Springs, Sharon Nothstein of Woodland Park, Colorado, and Brenda Martin and
Virginia Mink, both of Livingston; five sisters, Fannie Mason, Lela Jones and
Myrtle Bradley, all of Livingston, Ida Smith of Mt. Vernon and Becky Barron of
Brodhead. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his
wife Othia Mason, two brothers, and one sister. Services were Jan 03, at the
Livingston Pentecostal Church with Bros. Jim Miller and Eugene Gentry
officiating. |
