Mr. Carl R. Nicely age 69, of Rt.#1 Brodhead died Friday July 4, 2003 at his home after a long illness. He was born on June 25, 1934 in Rockcastle County the son of the late Lincoln and Minnie Hamlin Nicely. He was a retired farmer & construction worker. He enjoyed hunting & fishing.
Survivors are: his wife; Mrs. Norma Jane Robbins Nicely of Rt.# 1 Brodhead. Two sons; Earl Wayne Nicely, of Brodhead, and Carlis Nicely, and wife Sharon of Berea. One daughter; Mrs. Doris Moore, and husband Howard of Brodhead. Two brothers; Glenn, and Randall Nicely both of Hamilton, Oh. One sister; Mrs. Doris Fern French of Rt.#1 Mt. Vernon. Two grandchildren; Kristi Moore, and Amy Harding. Three great grandchildren; Corey, Caitlin, and Hunter Harding. Four step-grandchildren, and three step-great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by: two brothers, and five sisters. | |
