Mr. Brian Patrick Northern, age 34 of Rt. 2 Mt. Vernon, died Tuesday, Oct. 19 at the Rockcastle Hospital. He was born in Rockcastle County on Aug. 6, 1970 the son of Jerry and Evonda Ball Northern. He was a general laborer and attended the Crossroads Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Denney Northern; a stepson, Tyler Sizemore; his parents, Jerry and Evonda Northern; and a sister, Stephanie Leeann Northern; his maternal grandparents, Bert and Ardella Ball Thompson. He is also survived by a special niece, Kendra, who lightened his life by calling him "Uncle Buck". He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Tennessee Smith Northern; and his maternal grandfather, Rovie Ball.
