Mr. Bernard Norton age 67 of Rt.#1 Mt. Vernon died Friday July 4, 2003 at his home after a long illness. He was born on May 9, 1936 in Rockcastle County the son of the late Rosevelt and Rhoda McKinney Norton. He was a retired Forman for Jaspers Iron & Metal, a Ky. Colonel, enjoyed farming & Mechanic Work, and was a member of the Colony Holiness Church.
Survivors are: his wife; Mrs. Ruby Mink Norton of Rt.#1 Mt. Vernon. Three daughters; Mrs. Brenda Dykes of London, Mrs. Joy LaFary of London, and Mrs. Robin Caldwell of Brodhead. One sister; Mrs. Eva McFerron of Mt. Vernon. Five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by one brother; Glen Norton. | |
