Brooks Palo, 87, Crab Orchard, died Tuesday at Charleston Healthcare Center,
Danville. Born July 18, 1909, in
Rockcastle County, she was a daughter of the late Richard Emmitt and Mattie
Turner Brooks. She was a retired employee of Chrysler Automotive Corp. and a
member of Watts Chapel Baptist Church. She was the widow of Jacob E. Palo. Survivors include a son,
Richard L. Garner, Crab Orchard, and a sister, Mae King, Lexington. She was
preceded in death by a son, Arnold A. Garner. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at McKnight-Martin Funeral Home by Dan Gutenson. Burial will be in Crab Orchard Cemetery. |
