Eleanor Perry

Eleanor Perry, 80, of Monroe passed away May 28, 2004 in Middletown.

She was born Jan. 6, 1924 at Rockcastle County, Ky., and had lived in the Hamilton area for 50 years. She also lived in Waverly, Tenn. from 1993 to 2003.

Mrs. Perry was the owner of Perry’s Fabric & Upholstery on Shuler Avenue in Hamilton and was a member of Solid Rock Church.

She was preceded in death by her son, Dan Perry, daughters Louise Schmidt and Pat Mullins, and brother Bill Gabbard.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Oliver H. Perry of Monroe; sons Dale Perry and wife Vicki of Waverly; and Wayne and Rick Perry of Monroe; a daughter, Darlene Bishop and her husband Lawrence of Monroe; 19 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, half-brother Doug Gabbard of Montana and sister-in-law Catherine Gabbard of Waverly.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, May 31, 2004 at Solid Rock Church, with funeral services following at 1 p.m. at the church. Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, Tenn.
