Mr. Freddie Dean Renner, age 56, of Brodhead, died Thursday, June 17, 2004 at his home after a long illness. He was born in Sand Springs, Ky. on March 11, 1948, the son of Dorothy Pauline Taylor Renner and the late Leonard Renner. He was a farmer, gun collector and trader. He was a member of the Walnut Grove Church of Christ.

Those left to mourn his passing include his wife, Lucille Scalf Renner of Brodhead, Ky. ; a son-Robbie Dean Renner of Brodhead, Ky; seven step children-Charlie Roark and wife Laura of Alabama; Billy Scalf of Florida; James Scalf and wife Elizabeth of Mt. Vernon, Ky; Bootsie Shephard and husband Matt of Mt. Vernon, Ky; John Scalf and wife Shirley of Mt. Vernon, Ky; Leslie Scalf of Mt. Vernon, Ky; Shellie Bradley and husband Larry of Mt. Vernon, Ky; Three sisters-Barbara Martin of Brodhead, Ky; Judy Broyles of Somerset, Ky; Darlene Delph and husband Eddie of Brodhead, Ky; Two brohers-Leonard Renner, Jr. and wife Brenda of Brodhead, Ky; V.Wayne Renner and wife Teresa of Crab Orchard, Ky; and Eighteen step-grandchildren; as well as a host of friends/neighbors.

Besides his father he was preceded in death by an infant sister-Suetta Renner and infant brother-Johnny Ray Renner.
