Mr. Lafey Seals, 58 of Brodhead died Monday August 16, 2004 at the Rockcastle Hospital. He was born on December 18, 1945 in Berea, KY the son of the late Matt and Dorothy Isaacs Seals. He was a former press operator, enjoyed hunting, camping, and wood working, and was a member of the New Hope Holiness Church.

Survivors are: His wife; Mrs. Evelyn Renner Seals of Brodhead. Three sons; Nathan Seals of Mandeville, LA, Brady Seals (Patty) of Georgetown, KY, and Phillip Seals of Corbin, KY. One daughter; Leighanne Seals of Corbin, KY. Two brothers; Mike Seals (Joann) of Conway, KY and Larry Seals (Maggie) of Richmond, KY. Two sisters; Linda Johnson (Eugene) of Paint Lick, KY and Elizabeth Baker (Larry) of Mt. Vernon. Three grandhildren and several neices and nephews also survive.
