Jane Symonds

STANFORD - Services for Jane Symonds, 75, of Stanford, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Fox Funeral Home by the Rev. Curtis Herrington. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. She died Thursday at Charleston Health Care Center, Danville.

Born Oct. 2, 1923, in Rockcastle County, she was a daughter of the late Aquilla and Effie M. Laswell Herrington. She was a homemaker and a member of Stanford Church of Christ.

Survivors include three sons, Henry Symonds of Bowling Green; Gary Symonds of Stanford and Paul Symonds of Alachua, Fla.; a daughter, Martha Pruitt of Stanford; two brothers, Carlis Herrington of Taylor, Mich., and Vanis Herrington of Cincinnati, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Saturday.
