Everett Talbott

Services for Everett "Zeb'' Talbott, 64, of Albany Circle, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Oscar Mayes. Burial will be in Manse Cemetery, Paint Lick. He died Monday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born Jan. 13, 1935, in Rockcastle County, he was a son of Alreck and Nellie Thomas Talbott. He was a retired master plumber for Centre College and a member of Junction City United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Helen K. Talbott; two sons, Shane Talbott and Jason B. Talbott, both of Danville; three daughters, Sally James of Danville, Jo Ann Metcalf of Lincoln County, and Darla Miller of Lancaster; a brother, Ed Talbott of Van Buren, Ark.; five sisters, Christine Townsend of Nicholasville, Faye Preston, Freda Preston and Jeanette Hoskins, all of Mitchellsburg, and BettyTalbott of Eastern Kentucky; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Doug and Gordon King, John T. Edwards, Chester Kavanaugh, Millard Warren, Ricky and Jeff Preston and Jeff Hicks. Honorary pallbearer is Johnny R. King.

Visitation is after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
