Mrs. Joyce Ann Parker Ledford Wells age 65, of Rt. 3 Brodhead died Monday March 10, 2003 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was born on November 20, 1937 in Harlan County the daughter of the late Henry and Hattie Burdine Parker. She was a housewife, she enjoyed helping & ministering to others, and was a member of the Kings Tabernacle Church in Richmond, Ky.
Survivors are: her husband; Coolie Wells of Brodhead. Two daughters; Mrs. Leigh Ann Ledford Zaring of Brodhead, and Mrs. Alice Ledford of Dublin, Va. Six brothers; Bobby J. Parker of Louisville, Ky., Henry W. Parker of Manitou, Ky., Donald G. Parker of Valley Station, Ky., Charles E. Parker of East Bernstadt, Bill T., and Gary Parker both of Mt. Vernon. Two sisters; Mrs. Lydia M. Helton of Holland, Oh., and Mrs. Aletha Bryant of Livingston. One grandchild; John Thomas “Tommy” Zaring, and two great grandchildren; Mazzy Rudder, and Lydia B. Zaring. She was preceded in death by: one brother; Kenneth Parker, and by one sister; Louise Parker. | |
