FBI APPREHENDS GEORGIA FELON

 Atlanta (UP) –“Little Red” trudged in the footsteps of his notorious brother “Big Red” in custody of the FBI today after a brief appearance on the list of 10 most wanted criminals.

 Nelson (Little Red) Duncan, 32, suspected operator of “an amazingly efficient car theft ring,” was trapped by Atlanta police during a burglary attempt yesterday, 13 days after making the FBI’s “most wanted” list.

 His brother, Lawrence (Big Red) Duncan, made the list in 1952 and is now serving a prison term at Alcatraz.

 Maine Woodsman Slain After Going Berserk

   Ellsworth, ME. (UP) --  A woodsman who went berserk and terrorized a young couple, wounded a deputy sheriff and then barricaded himself in his shack for five hours was killed by a fusillade of possemen’s bullets shortly before last  midnight.

 State police said the woodsman, John McCarthy, 42, refused to surrender after killing the couple’s dog, trying to rip off their clothes ………………..(article cut off before it ended)
