Armstrong Family Cemetery #1

Contributed by Homer Musselman
This cemetery is off of Poplar Road (Route #616.) From Warrenton Road (Route #17) go approximately 2.2 miles on Poplar Road to the house of L. M. Hamm on the right. Just past the house turn right onto a dirt road and continue on the dirt road 0.3 mile to the fence. Walk on a dirt road about one mile past a pond to an old house ruins. Walk past the house and another pond on the left for about 0.5 mile. The cemetery is located on the right under several large cedar trees. The information on two of the graves was taken from the Stafford County WPA Report. The information on the third grave was provided by Doug Bradshaw and by visiting the cemetery. There were other depressions and broken stones with no markings in the cemetery. Barbara Flack found this cemetery.
