Black Family Cemetery #2
Contributed by: Homer Musselman
This cemetery is located on the east
side of Mountain View Road (Route #627.) Turn left on to a dirt road at Mrs.
Nettie Cooper's house. Follow the logging road to a clearing and park. Walk to
the right, perpendicular to the logging road, cross a second logging road to the
next ridge, turn left and follow the ridge about 0.25 miles. The cemetery has
been neglected for years and is overgrown. The cemetery is about 100 yards past
the Embrey Family Cemetery #2. There are indications of numerous unmarked
graves. Bill Gordon found this cemetery and took me to it.
