Bloxton Family Cemetery #2
Contributed by Homer Musselman
Lou Silver led Marty and Mike Lyman to this cemetery. Only one stone stands;
that of Alvin Bloxton. However, several other grave indentations were visible.
Mrs. Silver said this cemetery is located on the farm of Berryman Cox, who's old
home can be seen nearby. Berryman Cox is her War of 1812 great grandfather. From
junction of White Oak Road (Rte 218) and Newton Road (Rte 603) proceed on Newton
Rd. for 0.6 miles to entrance of Sisson Farms #122 on right, proceed on driveway
to behind barns and on dirt path for about 100 yds. Cemetery is on high ground
to the right about 50 yds at top of field near woods by several trees.
