Whorton Family Cemetery

Contributed by: Homer Mussleman
This cemetery is located on Tax Map 31 Parcel 30. The cemetery is located at the end of Norman Road (Route 661). Go to the end of Norman Road and continue to follow the dirt road that is an extension of Norman Road. The cemetery is on the ridge to the right of the road. The Carter Family Cemetery and this cemetery are on the same ridge. We visited this cemetery in April 1996 with Charles S. (Picky) Gibson. There is one tombstone and a shaft with the names recorded on it.
