Mrs. Leach's Brother, 85, Dies in Hartford
Hartford - Thomas H. Black, 85, a retired farmer, died Thursday, March 13 in the Ohio County Hospital. He had suffered from a heart ailment.
Mr. Black was a former sheriff and jailer of Ohio County and served as county drainage commissioner.
Surviving are a daughter, Miss Lola Geneva Black, and a sister, Mrs. O.L. Leach, Central City. The funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hartford Methodist Church.

Eliza first married Arthur N. Davis, 19 Nov 1847, in Muhlenberg County. He died 9 Mar 1868, in Muhlenberg County. She then married William Marshall Blackwell, 26 May 1969, in Muhlenberg County.
