Military Units

The idea behind this page is to create a list of all those who served from Henry County for which genealogical records may be available in the National Archives. This list will contain an "email pointer" to persons who have information to share or are interested in learning more about these soldiers. I have posted all the rosters I have, so if anyone has more, please email me at syshephard@charter.net. The other way to get more individuals listed here is for you to send me the name, rank, unit, and war served in and we'll build the roster one name at a time.

If you are looking for Military Records, you may contact:

They have military records for anyone who served from Kentucky in any war since the Revolution. My "Thanks" to Marie Winburn of the Henry Count Historical Society for this information!
