Whitfield was born 14 Feb 1868 in Hopkins Co, KY, died 22 August 1926 in Denver, Colorado. She and her husband William Amos Goad are buried in Crown Hill Cemetery, Colorado.

William Amos Goad I is the son of Rev. Peter Samuel Blackburn Goad and American Independence Lacy. He was born 06 Aug 1868 in Hopkins Co., KY, died 19 May 1911 in Denver, Colorado. Peter Samuel B. Goad was born 06 July 1837, in Hopkins Co, KY, married America Independence Lacy on 13 September 1859, in Hopkins Co, KY. William F.
