According to his Application for Headstone or Marker (filled out by Ervin Rives, 11 Nov 1952), William R. Rives' marker was to be delivered to the Gardner Cemetery near Dunmor.

Rives' second wife Malinda J. Hall is also buried at Gardner Cemetery.

Application for Headstone or Marker for William R. Rives

Directions: From Dunmor, take Forgey Mill Road. The cemetery is the first left after passing New Hebron Church (4914 Forgey Mill Road), possibly Dora Lane, and the cemetery is located on a farm and about ½ mile from the farmhouse. In 1974, when the cemetery was copied, the farm was owned by Connis Mercer.
