Edmund Drake, born May 21, 1807 in Edgecomb Co., NC; died in 1888. Son of Albritton Drake & Ruth Collins. Married Ann Wells, daughter of Micajah Wells & Ann Collins.

- Ruth Collins Drake, born August 5, 1837; married Edmund Learner Drake February 7, 1855. She died October 15, 1895 and is buried in Christian Co., KY.

- Mary J. Drake, born about 1842
- Edmund Drake Jr., born about 1845; married Mary Ann Wells October 8, 1867
- Ben A.W. Drake, born about 1850
