In 1850 Census Winfield Scott and wife Serena are living in her father's household in Wilson Co., Tennessee. By 1860 they were in Muhlenberg County where they lived out their lives.

  2. Ann Eliza, born 16 July 1852, Tennessee; died 16 October 1930; buried Wyatt Chapel; married 1) a Smith (marriage record cannot be found); married 2) 04 November 1875, E.T. Howerton, Muhlenberg.
  3. John L., born 24 June 1855, Kentucky; died 28 October 1926, Muhlenberg; buried Wyatts Chapel; married 1) 17 October 1877, Mary Jane Brewer, Muhlenberg (divorced); married 2) 10 November 1881, Malissa Ann “Lissa Ann” Boggess (11 July 1862 - 03 July 1911), Muhlenberg; buried Wyatts Chapel
  4. William Franklin, born 08 March 1858; died 04 April 1943, Kentucky; married 07 January 1877, Sallie D. Calvert, in Muhlenberg. She was born 30 March 1849; died 03 August 1943, the daughter of P.H. Calvert and Amanda May. Both buried Ebenezer Cemetery.
  5. Samuel, born 1859, Kentucky; apparently died before 1870 census
  6. Palace L., born 04 January 1862, Kentucky; died 14 December 1935; married 21 April 1887, Tabitha Frances Leigh, in Muhlenberg. She was born 06 September 1855 and died 30 May 1934, the daughter of G.H. Leigh and Eliza Cotton. Both buried Dwyer Cemetery (also known as the Leigh Burying Ground.)
