Will of James Miller, Muhlenberg County, KY, Book 3, p. 111; written 24 June 1851; proven July 1851:

To sister “Mary Anne Hodgens to have all that is due me from annuity and otherwise in Ireland”; to Angelene E. Poag (relationship not named); to friend John Bruce; to Joseph Poag son of James W. Poag; to Mary E. Johnson (relationship not named) and to John E. Reno who was also named Executor. Witnesses: H.S. Campbell and John Kittinger.

  4. Elizabeth Weir Poag, born abt. 1805, South Carolina; married 13 August 1829, Muhlenberg County, James Weir Wilkins, merchant. Elizabeth Poag and James Wilkins were first cousin.
  5. James Weir Poag, born abt. 1808, South Carolina; died 1850-1860; married 05 October 1837, Muhlenberg County, Angeline Elizabeth Solomon. Angeline is buried in Old Greenville Cemetery: “A.E., wife of J.W. Poag, died June 10, 1885, aged 63 years”
  6. Jane Poag, born abt. 1808, South Carolina; married 25 August 1826, Muhlenberg County, Isaac Ambrose Clifford. Jane died February 1860, Christian County, KY, age 52 (Source: 1860 Census Mortality Schedule)
