Thomas, one of our dudiest dudelings, undaunted by the rain last Sunday evening, donned his new spring suit and patent leather shoes, and after spending some time before the glass to get his hair parted exactly in the middle ran into his overcoat, and with umbrella stretched, mounted his horse and started across the country to see his best girl. When about half way there one of those sudden puffs of wind that come only in March came and blew his umbrella wrong side out. The horse became frightened and proceeded to put distance between himself and the place of the accident. As the rain was coming down in torrents we fear the words he used were not learned at Sunday school.
