Caldwell, Percilia & William E. Berry

Caldwell-Berry Wedding. Mr. and Mrs. John S. Berry announce the marriage of their son, William E. Berry, to Miss Percilia Caldwell. The marriage took place in the Green Room of the Beverly Hills Hotel, Los Angeles, Californai, at 9 o'clock Tuesday evening, January 3, in the presence of friends.

Mrs. Berry is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.L. Caldwell of Los Angeles.

Mr. and Mrs. Berry are at home in the Andrew Arms Apartment, 516 South Andrews, Los Angeles.

Cather, Susan Forrest & G.L. Simpson

Cather-Simpson. Miss Susan Forrest Cather, of Browder, Ky., and Dr. G.L. Simpson, of Greenville, were married at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, March 13, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. D.F. Cather, of Browder. The Rev. George S. Wood, pastor of the Methodist Church, Drakesboro, performed the ceremony in the presence of the immediate families. Miss Margaret M. Cather, sister of the bride, and Mr. J.E. Hoodenpyl, of Greenville, were the attendants.

Dr. Simpson and Mrs. Simpson left immediately after the ceremony for a trip to Mexico. Upon their return they will reside in Greenville and be at home to their friends after April 1.

Cottrell, Alfreda & Dallas Jones

Cottrell-Jones Wedding on Dec. 20. Beechmont - The Beechmont Missionary Baptist Church was the scene Dec. 20 at 2 p.m. of the marriage of Miss Alfreda Cottrell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Cottrell, and Mr. Dallas Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Jones of Cleaton.

The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Dencil Lewis before an alter of white mixed flowers and palms and white tapers.

Preceding the ceremony Miss Janet Strader sang “I Love You Truly" and "Because," accompanied by Mr. Gene McLemore.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a waltz length gown of white chantilly lace. The long tapered sleeves were set into a fitted bodice with a portrait neckline. The buffount skirt featured a scalloped hemline. Her elbow length veil was caught in a cap of lace and seed pearls. She carried a white Bible topped with white carnations.

Mrs. Richard Pearson, matron of honor, wore a dress of blue taffeta. She carried a bouquet of white carnations.

Mrs. Bobby Wynn, dressed in orchid, and J. R. Baker, sister of the bride, dressed in green, were bridesmaids. Their bouquets were white carnations. Mr. Bobbie Wynn was best man. Messrs. Richard Pearson and Ray Jones, brother of the groom, were ushers.

Mrs. Cottrell, mother of the bride, wore a dress of aqua blue, with black accessories, and her corsage was of white carnations.

Mrs. Jones, mother of the groom, wore a blue dress with black accessories, and her corsage was white carnations also.

Following the wedding, a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. Miss Faye Jones, sister of the groom, served the wedding cake while her sister, Miss Hilda Jones, presided at the punch bowl. Following the reception, the couple left for an extended trip to the southern states.

For traveling the bride chose a white tailored dress and black accessories. The couple will make their home in Beechmont.

Courville, Lilly J. & Noel Akers

Courville-Akers. Mrs. J.W. Phelps of this city has received word from her brother, Mr. George A. Sanders, of Balboa Canal zone, of the marriage of Miss Lilly J. Courville, a sister of Mrs. Sanders, to Dr. Noel Akers. The wedding took place at the United States consulate at Santander, Spain, October 28. Mr. and Mrs. Sanders and Mrs. Aker visited here in 1930 for several weeks, and toured Kentucky and other states.

Craig, Jessie & Shelly Noffsinger

Craig-Noffsinger Wedding.

Miss Jessie Craig and Mr. Shelly Noffsinger were married at the home of Mr. J.N. Lyon, on Cherry street, at 9 o'clock last Wednesday night, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Robert H. Tandy, in the presence of a few intimate friends. The bride is a popular young woman, and the groom is assistant cashier of the Farmers' State Bank, well known over the county and popular in business circles. They are at home on Cherry street.

Crowder, Claudia & Elmer O. Nichols

Crowder-Nichols Wedding

Mr. and Mrs. B.C. Crowder announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Claudia Crowder, to Mr. Elmer O. Nichols, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Nichols, Richmond, Kansas.

The wedding took place at the home of the bride's parents at 11:30 o'clock Thanksgiving morning, November 24, the Rev. O.P. Bush officiating. Miss Thelma Crowder, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor, and Mr. Wayne Nichols, brother of the groom was best man.

The bride was attractively gowned in a laurel green coat suit with black accessories and a shoulder corsage of pink rosebuds. The maid of honor wore teal blue with wine accessories.

After the ceremony the wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents.

The young couple left immediately on a short wedding trip to Louisville before leaving for Richmond, Kansas, where they will make their home.

Out-of-town guests at the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Nichols and daughter, Margola, of Richmond, Kansas, and Miss Thelma Crowder and Mr. Wayne Nichols of Louisville, Ky.

Crowder, Eva Jean & Aubrey Lile

Crowder-Lile. Miss Evan Jean Crowder, city, and Mr. Aubrey Lile, of Greenville, were united in marriage Friday afternoon, October 14, at the State Street Methodist Church, Bowling Green. Miss Mary Jane Taylor and Mr. William D. Stokes of Greenville, witnessed the ceremony.

At the conclusion of a short wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Lile returned to Greenville where they are now at home to their many friends of Central City and Greenville in the Massey apartment.

Mrs. Lile is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. C.G. Crowder and is a popular member of the younger set in the city. Mr. Lile is the son of Mrs. and Mrs. George Lile.
