James-Huff. Hartford - A marriage license has been issued here to Bobby Eugene Huff, 19, McHenry, and Flora Rebecca James, 17, Central City Route 1.

Johnstone, Edward B. & Elizabeth McIlquham
Johnstones Mark 50th Anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Edward B. Johnstone of Route 2, Central City, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, December 20, at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Bennett Driskill, 207 College Street, Greenville. They were married in the Christian church in Laurel County, Pittsburg, Ky. on December 20, 1902. Mrs. Johnstone before her marriage was Elizabeth McIlquham. They have two living children, Mrs. Bennett Driskill and Edward L. Johnstone of Coral Ridge, Ky. They have four grandchildren. A grandson who is with the U. S. Air Force in Okinawa wrote the following tribute to them…

Jones, Evelyn & Arthur Devine
Jones-Devine. Mr. Arthur Devine and Miss Evelyn Jones, both of Cleaton, were united in marriage at high noon Monday at the Bevier manse, the Rev. J.T. Wade, pastor of the Bevier Presbyterian church officiating. The bride was beautifully dressed in a navy blue traveling suit, with hat to match. They will make their home at Cleaton.
