Reno, R.D. & Sarah J. Tichenor

Married. Reno-Tichenor. - R.D. Reno, of Muhlenberg county and Sarah J. Tichenor of this county, were married at the Court House Monday afternoon by county Judge C.W. Massie. Mr. Reno is a sprightly youth of only 72 and his lady, a blushing bride of only 55 summers.

Riley, Mary & H. Smith

A Romance ended. Couple never met until the day they were married at Greenville.

Central City, Ky., July 19 - Miss Mary Riley, a pretty young lady of this place, and Mr. H. Smith, of Toledo, Ohio, were quietly married today at Greenville by the Rev. Dr. Woodson. Miss Riley and Mr. Smith had never met, but had corresponded with each other for some time, and today were to meet in Greenville where, if agreeable to both parties the marriage ceremony was to be performed. Miss Riley, accompanied by her father, boarded the train bearing her future husband at this place, and unknown to each other they traveled the distance between here and Greenville in the same coach. On leaving the train at Greenville they recognized each other from pen pictures given, and being mutually pleased they were married at once. Mr. and Mrs. Smith will visit relatives here for a few days and then leave for Toledo, where they will make their future home.

Roberts, Ruth & Thomas Barnett

Roberts-Barnett Wedding. Mr. and Mrs. I.H. Roberts announce the marriage of their daughter, Ruth, to Mr. Thomas Barnett of Sacramento, on Sunday, January 1. They are making their home in Sacramento, where Mr. Barnett is engaged in business with his father.

Rogers, J.L. & Emma Paxton

Rogers-Paxton. On Tuesday evening at 6 o'clock Mr. J.L. Rogers, of Greenville, and Miss Emma Paxton were married at the residence of the bride's brother, Mr. Wayne Paxton, near Cromwell. A large number of admiring and well-wishing relatives and friends had gathered and many were the hearty congratulations extended the newly wedded pair when Rev. Brandon had performed the beautiful ceremony that made the two hearts beat as one. The wedding party then repaired to the home of the groom's mother, Mrs. Magdalene Rogers, where a bountiful supper was served to the delight of all. Mr. Rogers is a young Attorney of much promise, who has established himself in our neighboring little city of Greenville for the practice of his profession. He is one of our best and most worthy young men. The bride is a young lade of beauty and culture, whose many virtues makes her well worthy the young man of her choice.
