William Allison, 1814

I, William allison, of the state of Kentucky and Muhlenberg County, constitute, ordain and establish this my last will and testament.

It is my will and desire that my friends William Imbler & Hugh Carter after my death shall sell all my stock, household & kitchen furniture, giving twelve months credit thereon.

It is also my [will that my] friends William Imbler and Hugh Carter shall sell my land whereon I now live and give 6 years credit, all my notes will be collected as they fall due for the use of my children.

Immediately after the money becomes due my will and desire is that it be put into the treasury and the interest thereof to be applied to the benefit of the youngest children.

It is also my will and desire that as each of my children becomes of age they shall draw their proportionable part. This is my last will and testament sealed with my seal.

Dated this day April 11th 1814 in the year of our Lord. Witnesses.

The within instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of William Allison decd. was returned into court, approved by the oaths of Phillip Murphy & John C. Graves subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded.
