I, Jacob S. Baker of the county of Muhlenberg and State of Kentucky being of sound mind and disposing memory do make and publish this as my last will and testament.

First, I will that all my just debts be paid in full.

Second I will that a suitable monument be erected over my grave.

Third I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Nettie Baker all my property both real and personal and of whatsoever kind and nature.

I nominate and appoint J.S. Depoyster of Dunmore Ky. my executor to carry into effect the decrees of this will.

In witness whereof I have hereunto signed my name the 20th day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety seven.

The foregoing instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Jacob S. Baker, deceased, was this day produced in open court and proven by the oaths of P.S. Mohon, A.J. Templeton and Morton K. Yonts, the three subscribing witnesses thereto, to be the act and deed of said decedent.

Whereupon the same is adjudged to be the last will and testament of Jacob S. Baker, deceased, and was ordered to be recorded which has been done accordingly.
