William Thompson Brown, 1881

I, W.T. Brown, being weak and feeble in body but I trust sound in mind make and declare this my last will and testament.

First I will and desire that all my just debts be fully paid and also my funeral expenses.

Second I give and bequeath to my two youngest sons W.T. Brown and Nathaniel Brown my farm where I now live and also I give to W.T. Brown one horse named Salem and Nathaniel Brown one horse named John.

I will and bequeath to Fanny Brown Fifty Dollars in money to make her equal with my other children after a horse I have all ready given her.

Third I will and desire that after all my debts are paid that the balance of my estate be equally divided between my children.

Fourth I hereby appoint my son Samuel Brown my Executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills heretofore made.

Given under my hand this 31 day of December 1877.

The foregoing last will and testament of W.T. Brown Decd. was this day produced to Court and proven to be the Act and deed of the said W.T. Brown Decd. by the Oaths of J.R. Depoyster, F.N. Isbell and Jno. E. Reno three of the subscribing Witnesses thereto where upon The same was ordered to be recorded which is now accordingly done.
