Transcription

Knowing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death I make this my last will and testament.

First, I will my land to be equally divided between Elizabeth B. Young and William S. Young.

Second, I will that all my cash notes be equally divided between the same parties E.B. Young and W.S. Young.

Third, I will to Elizabeth B. Young my horse and bed.

Fourth, should William S. Young die before he is twenty one years old, then I will to Elizabeth B. Young all my land and cash notes.

Fifth, I will that my Brother William manage the part of my estate willed to William S. Young.

This February 26th in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty three.

The foregoing Last Will and testament of Agnes R. Dearing deceased was produced to court and proven to be the act and deed of said Agnes R. Dearing decd. by the oaths of R.H. Jones and Greenwood Jones, the two subscribing witnesses thereto, and ordered to be recorded.
