Ruth Dennis, 1890

Be it known that I Ruth Dennis, widow of T.J. Dennis decd., realizing the shortness of life and the certainty of death, while yet clothed in my right mind and uninfluenced by any undue motive, wishing to dispose of hereafter all my worldly goods I may now own and possess and further wishing and willing that my proper and legal heirs may come in legal possession when my time on earth is ended, I declared in the presence of Almighty God that my last wish, will and testament is that all real estate and personal property that I now own or may hereafter acquire must go to my grandchildren (share & share alike the children of my son H.H. Dennis) he becoming my executor without bond and I charge him with a faithful execution of this my last will and testament.
