I Valentine Fentress of the County of Breckenridge and State of Kentucky wishing to make some deposition of my estate different from that made by law do make and ordain this my last will and testament.

I give and bequeath to my following named children viz. and my dearly beloved wife Sarah with this addition, I wish her to have her part as one of the named children.

John Fentress, Samuel Fentress, William Fentress, Valentine Fentress, Elijah Fentress, Elizabeth Butler, Susannah Waltrip, Lucy Davis and Patsey Tucker, their heirs and assigns forever, all my estate whether real or personal or mixed, whether in action or possession of whatever nature or kind so ever to be equally divided between them.

In consequence of the disobedience and other misconduct of my Granddaughter Sally Hutchison, daughter of my son Pleasant Fentress, I do not wish her to have any part or portion of my estate whatever, yet whereas I paid some debts owing by her father after his death, I hereby discharge her from any liability on account of the same.

I hereby appoint my son Valentine Fentress executor of this my last will and testament. In Testimony whereof I hereby subscribe my name and affix my seal this 18th day of June 1834.

The above will was signed, saled and published by Valentine Fentress Sr. to be his last will and testament before us as witnesses thereto and we subscribe our names as witnesses thereto in his presence June 18th, 1834. Signed March 1st 1835.

The within writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Valentine Fentress Sr. was produced in court and proved by the oaths of the subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded.
