James M. Hannum, 1884

In the name of God, amen. I James M. Hannum do this day after willing my soul to God who gave it made this my last will and testament concerning my worldly goods. I will that my wife Hariet C. Hannum have all my land in Muhlenberg Co. Ky. also my undivided interest of land in the estate of my grandfather John Hannum of Penn. also my undivided interest in Anderson Co. State of Texas.

2nd I will that she my wife Harriet have all my persona property of whatever kind.

3rd I will that she said Harriet C. Hannum, my wife, have all my moneid notes and also my monies after defraying my funeral expences therefrom.

4th I will furthermore my wife Harriet have all my landed interest in any estate that may come to me in Logan Co. Ky.

I James M. Hannum being of sound mind and feeble body have this day made the above will and do make this my last will and bequest this August 13, 1883.

The foregoing last will and testament of James M. Hannum deceased was this day produced to court and proved to be the act and deed of the said James M. Hannum by the oaths of E.T. Skipworth and Bob Craig two of the subscribing witnesses thereto. Whereupon the same was ordered to be recorded which is now done accordingly.
