William Heltsley Will

Transcription

I, William Heltsley, being of sound mind and dispoing memory, do make and publish this my last will and testament.

First, I will and desire that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid.

Second, I give and bequeath to my wife Catharine all my property, real, personal or mixed, of every kind, during her life or widowhood.

Third, at her death or marriage, I give and bequeath to my two youngest children Martha Ellen and Philip Robert all my property both real, personal and mixed, to have and enjoy the same.

Fourth, my older children by my first wife have received all of my estate that I expect them to have, having done the best I could for them, that I was able to do.

Fifth, I hereby appoint my wife Catharine executrix of this my last will and testament and further desire and request that she execute bond without giving and surety on said bond, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

Given under my hand this 6 day of May 1878.

The foregoing last will and testament of William Heltsley decd. was produced to Court and proven to be the act and deed of the said William Heltsley by the oaths of L.W. Irvin & C.W. Short, the two subscribing witnesses thereto. Whereupon the same was ordered to be recorded, which is now done accordingly.
