Everett Mitchell Will

Transcription

This my last will and testament made and entered into this the 16th day of July 1859.

1st I desire that my wife Rebecca Mitchel be supported her lifetime but nothing to sell or give away.

2nd I desire to give my son Calvin P. Mitchel all that I have paid for him and Charley and Twenty Five Dollars to his Daughter Mary Rebeca that is in Tennessee.

3d That Elias Daughter have Twenty five Dollars.

4th I want William Buchanan to hold the place he now lives on provided he will pay One Hundred Dollars.

5th I want all my just debts paid.

6th Americus, Missouri, Louisanna and M.A. Mitchel and Benjamin Kimmel to the rest of my estate to be equally divided between them.

7th There is an old note in Tennessee they say against me that I have paid off July Twenty six or seven years ago.

I appoint John D. Stewart my executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other former wills or testaments heretofore made.

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 16th day of July 1859.

I, Jesse H. Reno, clerk of the county court, do certify that the foregoing will of Everit Mitchell was produced into court and proved by oaths of J.E. Roberson, M.A. Mitchell, subscribing witnesses to be the last will and testament of Everitt Mitchell decd. therto which was ordered to and which is truly recorded in my office.
Witness my hand as clerk of said county.
